• To help the student’s transition from a taught-based learning experience to practicing engineering learning experience.
  • To expose the student to a real-world current project that water/ environmental engineers would be asked to execute.
  • To make the student use and link all the skills learned in his/her undergraduate course and the current master’s degree course.
  • To make the student gain hands-on design experience and skills, as well as improve his/her transferable skills.
  • To make the student tackle open-ended design problems and further develop his/her engineering skill
  • To develop the students’ ability to handle independently all technical related matters in all the stages of a water/environmental engineering project
  • To make the student get experienced in working as a part of a team as that in the professional practice
