WEPG06 Sustainable Environmental Management

To develop knowledge and skills on sustainable Environmental Management principles so as to be able to apply appropriate strategies in environmental decision-making.

Learning Outcomes:

Upon successful completion of this module, students will be able to;

LO1:  Identify key principles of sustainability and the relationship of these to current debates in Environmental Management

LO2: Apply effective assessment of environmental aspects in practice incorporating complexity of factors influencing their                     effectiveness

LO3:  Synthesize the skills gained in the successful implementation and rational decisions in environmental management

LO4:  Construct reasoned and well supported arguments, justifying decisions and conclusions reached.

LO5:  Apply state-of-the-art strategies for sustainable environmental management
