This module aims to equip
students with core knowledge of analysing fluid flows through the proper use of
simplifying assumptions and basic fluid-flow principles, fluid-flow phenomena
observed in engineering systems, namely pipe flow, hydraulic transients,
boundary-layer flows, and turbo machinery.

- Teacher: Dr. Arunoda Basnayake
The aims of this module are;
- To equip students with theoretical and practical knowledge in Engineering Surveying.
- To impart necessary skills to operate Surveying Instruments in the field.
- To develop the necessary skills and knowledge to adapt surveying principles to solve industrial problems.

- Teacher: Dr.W.M.K.R.T.W. Bandara
Mechanics of materials is the study of behavior
of structural elements under the action of various types of loadings

- Teacher: Prof. K.S. Wanniarachchi
Introduce fundamental engineering science concepts related to fluid mechanics and provide an understanding of the basic principles of fluid mechanics and their application to analyze simple fluid flow problems.

- Teacher: Dr. Arunoda Basnayake
This module aims to
introduce the basic concepts of Environmental Engineering in terms of analysis
of environmental pollution and sustainability.

- Teacher: Prof. G.G. Tushara Chaminda
